After 2 weeks of course work at the NTC in London I have now upgraded from my PCA Award to the new top LTA coaching award, the Master Performance Coach qualification. I am the first Scot to get this and one of only 14 coaches in GB. Another first for Strathgryffe.

I will be away in London again to complete my coaching upgrade on 3rd May through to 7th May. Sorry for any inconvenience. The good news is that I am learning new stuff to take back to the club.

I will only be available on a limited basis over Easter as I am attending the Master Performance Coach course in London from the evening of 5th April to late on Friday 9th April. I will be captaining the West of Scotland Juniors Under 11 and 13s at the Scottish Inter Districts between 16th and 18th April inclusive.

Information on the 2010 Easter Holiday camps is now available at reception and has been handed out at coaching squads. The next block of coaching from April to June is also included.

Spring Mini Tennis Camp runs 12/4/10 to 16/4/10 and is 0930 to 1200 hrs

Spring Tennis Camp runs 5/4/10 to 9/4/10 and is 1100 to 1430 hrs

Spring Rackets Camp runs12/4/10 to 16/4/10 and is 1300 to 1600 hrs

I will be unavailable next weekend (5th to 7th March) as I will be accompanying Cameron Kerr to the UK Masters event at Roehampton in London.

The October Week Mini Camp and Rackets camp were lucky to benefit from glorious sunshine all week. This must be a first. All who attended had a great time. Thanks to a good job by coaches Stephanie Norris and James Reid.
