Holly Makes Scottish Debut

Holly Docherty has been selected to play for a Scotland select U9 team against Yorkshire later this month. Four of the current Strathgryffe juniors have now had Scottish caps. Common Strathgryffe!

Cameron Bashes Belgians

Cameron Kerr proved his international pedigree by beating the top 4 Under 10 Belgians in an international training match for GB. He beat:

Cameron and Sophie Win Titles

Cameron Kerr recently won the West of Scotland U10s whilst Sophie Dunlop won the Tayside Open U16s and Womens event. Great stuff!

Great Britain Cap for Cameron

Cameron Kerr will be part of a four man Great Britain team to play Belgium next month over in Belgium. GB will also be sending a girls team. This is the first time any junior from Strathgryffe has played for GB. FANTASTIC!

Sophie Gets to Semis in European Event

Sophie Dunlop got to the semi finals of a Grade 3 Tennis Europe event at U16 level. She beat a german in the 1st round before dispatching a couple of English girls. Great effort Sophie!

Improving Appearance

Members will probably be starting to notice an improved appearance to the grounds of the club including the outside tennis courts. Two members are working hard to improve the appearance acting as joint groundsmen. Thanks to David Murray and John Graham.
