Congratulations to 15 year old Andrew Stark who made Strathgryffe Squash history on Wednesday night by becoming the youngest ever member to win a West league match by defeating George Allen of David Lloyd West End in only his 3 rd league match. Andrew won the game 3 – 0 and helped the 4th team to a 14 –8 victory which gives them a very timely boost in their push for promotion.
Andrew is one of a group of upcoming players benefiting greatly from the coaching of Martin Woods and is leading the next generation of team players to ensure the club has a strong future in the West set up.
Currently all 4 teams are sitting in the top of of their respective divisions and this promises to be the clubs most successful season.
