The club has some of the best facilities in the area, with two glass backed squash courts with viewing areas for matches, and state-of-the-art heating systems. The club has mens and female teams competing in the district leagues. Players of all standards are encouraged to participate in mini-leagues, and new players are always welcome.

Our 4 teams continue to enjoy success with the 1st & 4th sitting proudly on top of their divisions and still unbeaten. The 2nd team are lying 2nd and the 3rd team in 4th place after week 7 of the season having won all but 1 of their matches so far.

The club are hosting a quiz night on Friday October 3rd and following on from our near success at the last one, despite only joining in half way through, we are aiming to win this time.

Junior Squash Coaching (6-16 Years)

Junior Squash coaching (6 – 16 years) is now available at the club. Coaching is provided by Jason Broadberry (a County standard player). Jason has coached for a number of years and is available for private coaching.

New Squash Champion

There is a new name to add to the list of Strathgryffe squash champions. Chris Patrick won the 2008 competition with a hard fought 3-1 victory over James Dare. The first two games in particular were very keenly contested. Chris has not been a member for long but has certainly made his mark.
