ACCORD is here to provide palliative and end of life care to people living with or affected by a life limiting illness in Renfrewshire and parts of East Renfrewshire – currently supporting over 1200 patients and their families each year.

Our compassionate approach supports patients and their families in the community, at home, and in the hospice.

St Vincent’s Hospice is “The little hospice with the big heart” based in the beautiful countryside outside of Howwood and serving communities in Renfrewshire and the adjoining areas of North Ayrshire.

The hospice provides end-of-life care from 8 en-suite rooms within its in-patient unit, but it provides so much more than that, wrapping care around individuals and families affected by life-shortening illness for as long as they need support, including through community nursing, social work, spiritual care and bereavement counselling.

In addition to the money that the hospice receives from the NHS, every year the hospice needs to raise over £1.5M to ensure it can continue to be here when people in our local communities need us most.
