On Thursday July 17th we have 3 club members carrying the Queens Baton on its journey to Glasgow for the opening of the Commonwealth Games.
Trish McKinnon will carry the baton along Main Street in Houston handing it over to Alan Marshall outside the Carrick Centre at around 11:30 who will then carry the baton to the Houston Inn. The baton will then make its way to Bishopton, via Langbank and in Bishopton the third member of this illustrious trio, Julie Johnston will carry the baton from the Grove to the swing park and a little beyond.
