Lee Wishart, our current Club Champion, is now also the holder of both the Men's Singles & Gents Doubles Scottish Universities Tennis Championships titles (SSS Championships) which were held at the University of St Andrew's 15th - 17th April. His brother Robbie also played very well and narrowly missed out on a place in the quarters of the singles losing a tie-break set 10-8!
In the Ladies Doubles event, Strathgryffe's Katherine McPhie reached the final and was unlucky not to claim a title as she and partner Lisa Munro were also beaten 10-8 in the Championship tie-break.
Strathgryffe was also well represented at the University of Strathclyde Club Championships last week with Sophie Dunlop and Lee becoming Ladies & Gents Champions.
